Pixelmator is by far the slowest app to open on my new MBP M1 Pro. Any ideas? It's opening 5 files when starting up but those files are only 0.5 to 1.5 MB in size. Any ideas?

Hi Ed, over a minute doesn't sound right to me. Perhaps you could drop us a line at [email protected] with the 5 files Pixelmator Pro is trying to open on launch so we could test this out on our end?

Will do. Actually I think it's an M1 problem since several apps open slower than on my old Mac including iMovie, an Apple app.
