Hey Tim! If you're working with Pixelmator Pro, you should definitely give ML Super Resolution a try. You can learn more about how this machine learning-based algorithm works here.

Ah, I see. I'm afraid Pixelmator Classic doesn't offer this feature. Scaling images up or down is, generally, a destructive process, so doing it without any quality loss is pretty much impossible. Only now we can use smart algorithms like ML Super Resolution to compensate for stretched pixels (when upscaling) and create detail that wasn't there initially but that's in Pixelmator Pro only.
