I’ve been using Pixelmator on MacOSX for several years without problems, but my MacBook is failing and I’m waiting for the M1 MacBook to come out so switched to editing in LumaFusion on iPadOS 15 and using the iOS app for Pixelmator. I just can’t get it to make a text layer that’s not empty! Has anyone succeeded?

Hey Colin. In the layers sidebar, could you make sure there's no other shape or image above your text layer? The layers in your project may be stacked up in a way that hides the text box therefore it appears empty.
