Good point, that it is more customisable, supports M1 and Big Sur - it has more effects and adjustments but rather then that hard to see.
Maybe they worked in the background to optimise the code for the future to implement new features more easily?

but the UI change is really nice. They will build from there.
Actually I have looked into it a bit more. It doesnt seem so much but the fine tuning, new presets, apple silicon and big sur stuff is a lot of work I think its great that they did it now they can build from there.
I would love a clarity tool, local and adjustment layers, a font slider and even more ML stuff. I guess they will add stuff for artists, too.
It feels really refreshing the new 2.0.

And I hope the cloning tool will be refined. Now it is almost impossible to clone minute parts because of the extremely clumsy circle...
Anyway, greatly looking forward to this! Wish I could finally leave Photoshop completely aside!

I hope they’ve been working on ML powered masking to instantly mask people and other objects, similar to Resolve 17, and in addition worked on content aware scaling line Photoshop, for a 2.x release.
