I have a graphic template created in Photoshop, with several text layers. I am fairly new to Pixelmator.
I need to change the text within an already created box in the template. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to highlight the text within this box so I can change the text. I don't want want to create a new text layer. I just want to highlight the text, keep it formatted in the same font and color, and change the words. Seems I should be able to hit the T tool, click and drag across the text to highlight it, and type to change the words.
I hit the T tool, and all it does is create a new text layer. WHAT TOOL DO I USE TO HIGHLIGHT text and change it?
This should be simple, but I've spent an hour trying to figure this out.
Thanks for your help,

Hi Dick.
This behaviour is different between Pixelmator and Pixelmator Pro.
In Pixelmator, the text tool will always create new text. To edit existing text, click on it once with the Move Tool (the default arrow) to select it and again to edit it.
Hope this helps.
