Using the repair tool with precision

The repair tool is great !

But, sometimes the repaired area assumes some other part of the image.

Is there a guideline for what area to start the repair in?

Specifically, I have a picture of a violinist sitting on a bench in a park. My goal is to remove her head and replace it with a picture of my friend. But as I refine the repair around the neck, the violinist’s bow starts being replicated...
