However, the app being used in the video is Photoshop. I'm trying to follow along as best as I can with the video.
I'm having trouble with layering. So I created a gradient layer and am trying to add a black & white layer on top of it (to make image black & white). However, when I create a new layer & use add "Black & White" nothing changes.
I'm trying to figure out how to use "black and white" as a layer.
I hope someone can help me out. Thanks

If I want to make a layer or group monochrome in Pixelmator Pro the best way I have found is to add a Black and White Color Adjustment to the layer or group. This remains attached to the layer or group and can be edited or removed at a later point.
