Templates with guides?

I have to place guides in the same position each time I work in Pixelmator. Is there any way to save a template with the guides already positioned? I've tried it with only guides and also with locked lines on their own layer, but neither seems to work. Am I doing something wrong or is this just not possible?

Hey Gail, this isn't how templates work in Pixelmator Pro (at least not at this moment in time) but a fairly simple workaround would be to create a template file with those guides saved, then, each time you want to start using it as a template, you can open the document, choose File > Duplicate, and start creating — since you've duplicated the file, the original will stay intact.
