Right-click menu function to hide/unhide Layers?

What went into the decision making process to omit the existing menu option "Layer > Hide/Show Layer" from the right-click drop down pane when multiple layers are selected?

I understand that the Pixelmator team like to use hidden options, so why not only show the command when multiple Layers are selected, or have the function appear with the Option key held down?

There isn't even a shortcut for the option, which would speed up my repetitive workflow.

That's a good point, actually, that option should probably be there — I'll add this to the feature request list. In the meantime, you can create your own keyboard shortcuts for any commands in the Pixelmator menus using the steps here:

P.S. The tutorial is for Pixelmator Pro, but the same steps apply to Pixelmator or any Mac app, in fact.

I must stress however that I think normal Pixelmator users should receive this update also.
