Hey Armando, just to clarify, are you using the original Pixelmator or Pixelmator Pro?

In that case, the simplest way to do this would be as follows:
1. Make a selection of the area you'd like to pixelate (using the Elliptical Marquee tool, for example)
2. Apply the Pixelate effect from the Effects Browser
