Adding Elements

I am having an issue with being able to go back and adjust previously added elements (text, images, etc.). I never had this issue before and assume it's a glitch. Does anyone have a suggestion on a way to get around this, allowing me to go back to previous elements? Once I add a new element, I cannot go back to anything before that and make adjustments. Thanks.

Hi Elaine, could you let me know which app you're using — Pixelmator, Pixelmator Pro, or Pixelmator for iOS?

Also, when you say go back to other elements, do you mean you're unable to select them in your composition? Or something else?
