In Pixelmator Pro, you can easily add drop shadows and inner shadows to objects in your designs using the Style tool.

I like the video, but where did the "Hola" come from or how was it created? Was it created from within Pixlemator pro?

Hi Andrius,
I would like to add a shadow to an object on a white background. For now, I select a subject, but then cannot add a shadow. As a workaround I can make a transparent background and then export again as a jpg to get my white background back, but the results are not perfect.
Any way of adding a shadow directly to a selection?
Thanks in advance,
Peter

Hi Peter.
When selection is done just copy&paste which will generate a new Layer from that selection - then go Style and add Shadow and adjust accordingly.

Hi Ellen,
Thank you so very much! As a newbie, I did figure there had to be a better way! This has saved me a lot of hassle, so again, a big thank you!
