Copy a single Effect

Please give me the ability to copy a single Effect attribute to a new layer’s Effects. (“ Copy Effects” & “Paste Effects”, for instance, does it all, but will destroy what Effects have already been created on the target layer with exactly what I had on the donor layer — again, an all or none solution — where instead I want to add to it ).
