If Pixelmator did a tie up with Unsplash, and trained their LLMs on the Unsplash stock image data, then they could potentially have a super competing generative fill feature relative to what photoshop offers currently, which is trained on Adobe Stock data.
+100 for this feature - hope the team can solve this
We have some important news to share: the Pixelmator Team plans to join Apple. If you need product support please contact us here.

God, this is so gross. Fingers crossed this never, ever happens. I hope the Pixelmator team takes a page from the Procreate CEO when it comes to generative AI trash.

I think Pixelmator Pro is WAY BETTER than Affinity Photo. I love Pixelmator Pro AND Adobe Lightroom Classic.

DrawThings can run on an iPhone, so I've no doubt that you can add it to Pixelmator Pro.
Don't listen to the nonsense about "stolen art", there is a lot of misinformation going around.
- There are billions of high quality public domain images available, so all the recent models use them.
- Do the math: The original Stable Diffusion was trained on 2.3 Billion images. The database is 4 billion bytes. That works out to 14 bits per image! This is 14 bits: 10110011000101. It is not enough to reproduce a single pixel in full color.
- Obviously, it ISN'T copying anyone's art!
