If I open Apple Photos on Mac and type something like “car” in the search box I find nearly 200 photos, some of which are obviously a picture of a car, others simply have a car somewhere in the background and some have other types of vehicle. If I do the same on iOS I get more or less the same although not exactly, not sure why. In Photomator on iOS I don’t seem to be able to search from the main screen of “All Photos” but if I select an album and click on + to add more I can search within the list of photos but get a third set of results, very similar to Apple but not exactly. Lastly, with Photomator on Mac I can search the list of all photos but I exactly one result which isn’t even a car (well unless you count a cable car).
I have tried other search terms and get similar results. Apple on Mac and iOS and Photomator on iOS all get very similar but slightly different results, although not different enough to really worry about, but Photomator on Mac rarely gets any results.
Am I missing something?

OK I’ve found the reason for some of the difference between Apple and Photomator. Apple includes videos in the search which Photomator doesn’t.
Still doesn’t explain the weird results on Photomator for Mac though.
