Hello
I'm looking to make a POP ART effect, unfortunately no POP ART filter. How to create this effect with PIXELMATOR PRO that would allow you to have black dots on a transparent layer that could be a trick to create them and change their size and color without altering the image since the layer would be transparent
Thank you in advance for your return
I wish you all a nice day
Best
Patrick

Hi,
I am not sure what you mean, a reference photo can help.
I think this is what you wanted:
1. create a duplicate layer, add the effect "dot screen"
2. create another duplicate layer, add the effect "posterize".
3. add the layer from 2 as mask for 1
4. change layer 1 to be blended as "Darken".
5. use the brush and other tools to refine the result to match your needs. for example, use the brush to refine the mask.
let me know if that helped.
This is how it would look like:

This is what the POP ART effect looks like: You can play with the Halftone Generator and Comic effetcs to see if that gets what you want.

Hello
Thank you for the answers. In the meantime I have found solutions. I would like to have more information on how to use PP to be able to achieve a result similar to that of the last photo
Thanks again for the help
Nice end of the day and beautiful week to come

Can I ask something regarding this or should I start my own thread? I am sorry for jumping on this post.
