Hi, first I want to say that I'm a fan of Photomator, I've now edited photos from three trips and it has been fantastic!
However, I've found myself consistently going back to Snapseed for their portrait tools.
- Skin Smoothing - Self explanatory
- Eye clarity - Adds sharpness around subjects eyes
- Face highlight - Adds brightness to subjects face and darkness to other elements
I would love to see these make their way into photomator in one way or another. I've seen the threads here on skin smoothing. While that works, it is much more involved that I'd like it to be when I've got hundreds of photos to edit from a trip.
Anyways keep up the good work! Photomator is a great product!

I've written some skin enhancing automation using Applescript for Pixelmator Pro based on the excellent guide here:

This can do the above skin work via batch utility to save you lots of time.

Shawn, you came through again. Where do you find the time? I am not gonna post my selfy, but it even improved grizzled old me. And I haven't even looked at your documentation on how I should use it. I'll get to that soon... I know others will find this useful.
Thanks,
A Fan.
P.S. I like your icon.

Glad to hear! Let me know how it works. I've tested this many times while developing, but would like to hear how it holds up in the real world. Any professionals willing to try. I'll take your feedback to try and improve it. Eye clarity looks like a much harder problem... Not sure I can tackle that with the current tool set.
