i would like to edit the portrait setting like lighting effects, depth of field, and focus point, that i can edit in the phots app.

It does seem odd that Pixelmator Pro can't adjust depth on portrait photos since it can be done in Photos on Mac and in Focos on iOS. I'd really like to have this feature available in PMP.
