Made changes to my photo and hit done on the top right as always and I get this error. No idea what to do now. How can I go back to a previous working version?

Doing a Revert to Original should help you. You can do it in Photomator or in Apple Photos

Any change I make it photomator doesn't save. I get that same dialog box. I'm now editing my photos in the stock Photos app.

Are you, by any chance, running macOS 14.5 on an Intel Mac and is the image quality in Photomator settings set to 100%? If so, a system bug seems to have broken HEIC export at 100% quality on Intel Macs. :pensive: The update we released yesterday fixes the issue (or, more precisely, includes a workaround that sets exports at 99% quality on affected devices) so you can either update to that or drop the image quality to 99% in Photomator settings. If it's another issue – please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help!
