Hello, I ran into following behavior which feels non-intuitive to me:

I open a clear white image (0xFFFFFF RGB in all the pixels) and histogram shows this:

I would expect the distribution in the histogram to be all the way on the right side, but it's not. I would also understand if the right side was set to some higher point, so that the highlight distribution is more visible, but this is also not the case, as increasing exposure moves the distribution in histogram to the right side (until it reaches the border at 200% exposure setting). In the case of clear white image, increasing exposure doesn't change the image in any way, yet histogram changes.

I'm a bit confused by this behavior - would someone more knowledgeable be able to provide an explanation?
