Greetings to everybody Your views and opinions would be greatly welcomed as I look for an excellent photo-editing app for my iPad Pro. Lightroom isn't present since I'm trying to move away from the membership model and toward a more "traditional" purchase it once choice. I saw that Darkroom is $74.99 and Pixelmator Photo is $54.99 for the "purchase it once" option. I'm not sure what I would get for my money if I paid more for Darkroom or saved some money by buying Pixelmator. I'd be interested in reading about anyone's experiences if they have any with any of the two.

To me Darkroom seems to be pretty similar to Photomator. I haven’t compared output image quality though.
However i haven’t found any Darkroom advantages over Photomator.
There are two major drawbacks of Darkroom :
1. Lifetime licence price is 100 EUR.
2. Lack of healing tool which is rather essential tool in photo editing.
