Cut the pictures

Hello everyone,

I searched for the information but I didn't find too much of what I wanted.

I would like to divide an image of X cm/Xcm into 3-4-5 parts to reconstruct it after on a support.
What tool could allow me to do this?
I tried to draw rectangular shapes, so I get X parts as I want but I can't create an image from this shape (image which is part of the full image)
