Licensing question

I've installed Photomator on my MacBook Air M2, works fine. I installed on my Intel Mac Mini as well. Both indicate "Lifetime License" when I query.

The Mini installation won't import anything, nor will it create new folders or albums. No error messages, but it's inert. The M2 installation operates as expected. This occurs whether or not Photomator las been launched on one or both machines.

Is this a licensing issue? Will Photomator not run on two Macs simultaneously? I'd like to know, as I do different image processing on the two machines - only using one at a time, but I definitely want to use both machines. Thank you.
