OK, I am feeling a bit like an idiot with this software. I am trying to select part of an image to paste it into another (creating a tattoo). I used quick selection to weed out part of the picture. I said "select subject" then went to copy and pasted the selection into the new image. When I pasted the selection, it was only a part of the image. I thought weird, but ok. I went back to the original image and selected another "new" quick selection. After I selected the 2nd part of the image, I repeated the same steps and selected "select subject."
Every time I select the new subject, it reverts back to the one I just selected. WTF am I missing?! I even tried to use the rectangle selection tool since it is pretty much a rectangle, but it always reverts back to the selection I already copied. Why doesn't the "new" button know I am doing something new. Using an M1 MacBookPro and not using any beta software.
