As I understand, Pixelmator Pro currently cannot create vector shape from another vector shape's stroke. It'd be tremendously useful! In Illustrator it's called Outline stroke (and identical feature is Offset Path) -

Pixelmator Pro doesn't currently offer a dedicated option for this (I think it's worth considering, though) but there's a four-step workaround in case you'd like to give it a try:
1. Draw a path or add a shape you want.
2. Convert the shape into pixels (Format > Convert into Pixels).
3. Load selection (Edit > Load Selection) of the shape layer.
4. Convert the selection into a shape again (Format > Convert into Shape).
Hope that helps!

Looks like a hack, but works
Two transitions (from vector to pixels and back) add some randomness to the result, but as a workaround, it's perfectly fine. Thanks!

Yeah, it definitely isn't perfect but should do the trick for the most part.

Any chance we can see the Outline stroke option added to Pixelmator?
