I use my iPad as a graphics tablet connected to my Mac in order to run Pixelmator Pro. I often find I've touched the screen with my finger or knuckle and a small brush stroke has been made. Sometimes I find it too late to undo.
It would be nice to be able to have Pixelmator ignore finger touches as brush strokes (but still allow fingers to select tools and press buttons). I'd like to be able to only register stylus strokes. I have found Affinity Photo 2 ignores fingers and only registers stylus brush strokes and it works wonderfully; it doesn't seem to offer it as a choice, it just functions this way.
We have some important news to share: the Pixelmator Team plans to join Apple. If you need product support please contact us here.

Noted! While painting engine improvements are not exactly our top priority at the moment, we appreciate your suggestion and will definitely keep it in mind.
