Not sure what look you´re after. Maybe simply try a Blend mode after inverting the "bad photocopy" texture:

sorry - was resolved with a quit/reopen.
sometimes it feels like things just stop working. odd. a quit and a reopen usually does the trick, but it's too frequent and too random.
