I want to select a Subject but keep a small amount of background surrounding it. The problem is the 'Decontaminating Colors' feature bleeds color from the subject into the background - is there a way to turn this off? I don't want to add more background surrounding the subject but is that the only solution?

Hi there! If you use Edit > Select Subject rather than the Remove Background tool, color decontamination will be skipped (if needed you can perform this step manually with Image > Decontaminate Colors).

As for the color bleed itself, if you could share some examples of it, either here or via email at [email protected], we'll take a closer look.

Is there anyway to use Decontaminate Colors from the Photos Extension?
