Can't get a path to be closed

Hello,

I drew a path from point to point, and it went fine. fig 0

I then drew another path from point to point, and it does not show any points side by side, so to me, that shows it is point to point and should be closed. Fig 1

When I click on any segment, the entire path moves as one. Fig 2

But when I import the path as a .svg into my 3D program, it shows the path is segmented Fig 3

When I make the path editable and select all the points, I cannot invoke the "close path" command. Fig 4 / Fig 5

And when I select two inline points, I also cannot close the path between them. Fig 6

I do not see where the issue is, but I need to be able to close this path so it will extrude in my 3D program.

I´m not able to recreate this behaviour. The path comes in as on continuous outline in Cheetah3D and Blender. In CAD it´s usually segmented so I guess it´s probably your 3D app interpreting SVG. Which 3D app is this?
