Not sure if anyone has encountered this, but here goes.
Working on a print project, and when I export my file to tif, it’s slightly transparent when I pull it into illustrator. There’s a solid layer on the bottom, blending options normal, opacity at 100%. Is there some other thing that could be happening to cause this?
TIA for any insight!

Can´t recreate neither with sRGB or genericCYMK color profiles for instance. I´d check probably some layer adjustments in the target app.

It’s extremely odd. When I place the images in illustrator, I can’t see the transparency, only when I’ve exported to PDF/X1a:2001 will it become apparent as I can see template text beneath. If I open the tif in Photoshop first then save out from there, everything works properly.
