Good Day My Lovely Pixelmator Community,

I have recently discovered a need to have each frame of a video exported as it's own individual picture.

I would like to be able to do this with Pixelmator Pro if that is at all possible. Either by:
- using a script.
- using some unknown [to me] feature that I overlooked in the documentation.

However if this is not possible with Pixelmator Pro I would be [reluctantly] willing to use some other third-party software.

Thank you all for your thoughts and feedback.

Hi Sean.
The other way around is easy with macOS: making a video from an image sequence via QuickTime. With BigSur I can´t find any "in-house" solution to do so. There are 3rd party apps and online services available. I usually use my beloved macOS 3d app for this.
But be warned about the size resp. amount of its outcome. As an example: a YT-short with 51sec, 960x960px/30fps in an MP4 container with audio is just 3,7MB in size but will occupy 1,84GB as 1530 individual PNGs on your HD.
Single frames can be exported with Pixelmator of course, but no images sequence afaik.
