Editing a picture turns it to grey/white checkerboard.

Is something not working like it should? Let us know.

Hi! I have 3.9.10 Classic running on Catalina. I can crop or rotate a picture, but as soon as I do something like use the Sharpen function the whole image area turns into the grey/white checkerboard pattern. If I then export the image is saves as a blank picture (in one case going from a 1.5MB .jpg to 105KB .jpg). Ctrl-Z brings the image back. Resizing the image seems to be OK. This has been going on for a long time. It's just finally getting to me. :) Other than rotating/cropping/resizing just about any other function causes this to happen. I don't remember which update of macOS or Pixelmator this started on, but it was a while back. Thanks! Bob

Hi, I have the same issue with 3.9.11 and Catalina 10.15.7 applying some image effects. I sent a ticket to the support email and I'm waiting for a response. I hope they can do something to fix it since it looks like there are several people having this issue.
