Quick version:

I was sent 5 pictures and asked to make each 3" and print on a single page. I know there's a BEST way to do this (and it's probably obvious and easy 😂), but after all these years...don't know what that is. This kinda thing comes up often enough that I figured I should finally ask.

My TYPICAL way of handling this...
I've got my 8.5x11 project with 300 dpi open. I'd just make every pic 300dpi and make a square around what I want...then resize to 3"x3"...copy the picture and paste onto the 8.5x11.

Is there a better workflow?

Hi there! I wouldn't say there's a definite "best" workflow to achieve something like this - it mostly depends on what you're used to. Though you can find an alternative workflow explained in one of our newest video tutorials here. Some benefits of it are not having to switch between multiple Pixelmator Pro projects, and being able to adjust the crop for all five photos at any time.
