I have been trying to get a brush to apply a rubber stamp type effect onto an image. I have tried playing with settings of numerous brushes included with PP but can't get anything even remotely close.

What I am looking for: here or here or here

Can anyone point me to some tip or share settings etc?

Thank you!

Just search for "free rubber stamp brushes photoshop" you will find tons.

Download what you want and drag the brush files onto the Pixelmator Pro app icon and the brushes will load automagically. Image

Thank you - I love how easy it is to instal brushes!

I have not been able to find any Pixelmator brushes - and most of what I have found for PS are actual stamps (ie a round circle with 'approved' or similar), what I am wanting is a brush template of the marks of the stamp, not the stamp itself.

Something I can use on any graphic I have made that adds the character marks of a 'stamp'.
I have only found something similar on a paid site. Will keep looking - I just thought that changing a few settings in Pixelmator would give the effect (ie stretching a brush), but the overlay becomes so weak it doesn't make a good image.

Will keep trying - thank you for your help

I didn´t use a brush at all; just a "grungy" texture as a mask+blend mode in a non-destructive set-up. Couldn´t be easier in imho.

All of those require purchase. I'm thinking I might play around with creating some, I am amazed at how few free ones there are.
Thank you for your replies :)
