Which iPad app to use with Pixelmator Classic

Hi,
I‘m using Pixelmator Classic on a 2011 MBP (yes, I know, quite old yet). I just bought a new iPad (9th generation) and would like to edit photos on both my Mac and iPad. I created some templates on my Mac and would like to use them on the iPad.
Which iPad app should I get? Pixelmator Photo or Pixelmator for iOS? What are the biggest differences?

Hi Benjamin, Pixelmator Photo is a dedicated photo editing app as opposed to Pixelmator for iOS, which is more of a traditional layer-based image editor. However, Pixelmator Classic can open Pixelmator for iOS projects, but it can't open Pixelmator Photo project files. Therefore if you plan on editing a single project on multiple devices, I'd suggest going with Pixelmator for iOS.
