I upgraded Pixelmator Pro yesterday through the Mac App store, and now it's saving files as 'Pixlr image', which are greyed out when I try to open from the program. When I go the About Pixelmator Pro, it shows Version 2.3.7 abracadabra.

Does the 2.3.8 update fix this bug? I ran the terminal command support sent to me, and 2.3.7 is running fine for now. I'm just wondering if I should update?

2.3.8 reverts changes to the native Pixelmator Pro file formats implemented in version 2.3.6, so it will no longer create Pixlr files, but we're still working on a reliable fix for the binary file opening. If you have any corrupted binary files from Pixelmator Pro 2.3.6 that you need to open, you can fix them by repackaging. In particular, you'll want to change the file's extension to .zip, then double-click the file to unzip it.
