Opening images display as transparent / no image contents

Just now I've noticed that I cannot open images in Pixelmator classic any longer, while the contents of the image shows in the layers tab, the actual image shows the grid transparency layer and no image data.



Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here or if this is an application bug? Thank you!

Hi there, for issues like this, it's best to email us at [email protected] with your macOS info and version of Pixelmator Classic. I'm able to open images in Pixelmator Classic on my Mac, so it's not a universal issue and there's most likely something about the image, your version of macOS, Pixelmator Classic, or another entirely mysterious issue that we'll need to solve. But yeah, shoot us a line at [email protected] (if you haven't already) and we'll take it from there!

I have exactly the same problem since updating to 12.2.1

I also have the exact same issue. Seems like the Classic version no longer works with 12.2.1
