cut vector lines?

so....

there is no way to cut a vector line in pixelmator? ie... i have a circles and i want a quarter circle... is there no way to cut the circle vector? i constantly run into things that seem logical from my days using illustrator, that seem to missing from pm. for the sake of speed, i will focus on cutting a vector.

please help

There isn't a way to divide/cut paths in Pixelmator Classic but we've added Join and Divide paths options to Pixelmator Pro. In case you'd consider upgrading, Pixelmator Pro is on sale on the Mac App Store right now, and its free trial is available to download here.
