Multiple geometric selections

Give a pentagon, line and line. It the a way to selection the geometric shapes and resize them?

I'd try making selections from shapes. You can add an existing shape or combine one from multiple shapes, then use the Quick Selection tool (or any other selection tool) to select it. To create additional noncontiguous selections, make sure Add selection mode is on.
