Can you create a shape out of a selection?

I just can't find a way to do it, I don't know if this isn't a feature yet and if it is, can you tell me how to?

Using Pixelmator for iOS? If so, unfortunately not – your best bet would be to paint in the selection using one of the painting tools. Of course, this would not be a vector shape, but you might still find it useful.
