When cloning, what key do you press to mark the point that you want to clone in the crosshair. Mine trails very close.

Hi Colin, you've posted in the Pixelmator Photo forum but I have a feeling your question is about Pixelmator Pro, am I correct? If so, you can Option-click image areas to set a clone source and you can also turn off the big source marker in the Tool Options pane.
