Low DPI on Saved Files

How do I save images at the same DPI as the original?

I add a PNG image at 600dpi but when it is saved as a PNG again to iCloud, the saved image is now at a much lower 150dpi which is too low to use.

It's a weird quirk of Pixelmator for iOS: the dpi is fixed at 150ppi. It doesn't downsample the image, though, so a 1000px square image is still a 1000px square image. If the image had enough pixels for you before the edit, you should find it just as usable after.
