Hello, I need to convert many photos and I can not go one by one applying the layer to each one. Is it possible to apply to many photos at the same time so that it passes from format v1 to v2 that is attached (see images)? It would be a square photo, turn it round. Thanks!!

The trickiest part (impossible, for now) is the transparency. If your images are the same size and you wanted a colored frame, you could simply create an Image fill effect with a transparent hole. Something like this:

To make it possible to erase image areas using Automator, we'd need to add an 'erase' type of blending mode to Pixelmator Pro — Source Out, for example — or create an 'Apply mask to image' Automator action. Both are fine options, so I'll add them to the feature request list!
