We have some really big news for you today. Pixelmator Photo, the app unveiled during this year’s special iPad Pro event in Brooklyn, is now available for beta testing! It brings a range of powerful photo editing tools in one beautiful app — a set of nondestructive color adjustments, our magical Repair tool, a collection of beautiful presets for a range of different photography styles, a Crop tool enhanced by machine learning, and more. We can’t wait to hear what you think about it and we also can’t wait until all of you can get your hands on it (once it’s completely ready, of course).

Yeah, that was crazy fast — all gone in about 15 minutes! We'll see if we can open up some more spots in the next few weeks, but even so, we can't open enough for everyone interested. But it's great to see so much interest!

Oh no I missed it! I’ve been waiting for this since the realase of the Pro.... hoping to edit my underwater photos on my ipad. I’m keeping my fingers crossed there will be more spots soon

I see the list of compatible devices on the website and surprisingly iPad Air 2 isn’t listed as compatible but iPad Mini 2 is... Surely the Air 2 can handle what a mini 2 can?

I was so bummed! I was here 25 minutes after the email was sent (some of us work!) and all the spots were filled. I’m a YT content creator that uses Pixelmator Pro daily to edit thumbnails and create art and need a version for my mobile devices that is more powerful than the current Pixelmator as that’s my weakest part of my creating on the go setup. I’ve been waiting on beta news for MONTHS! Hope you open up more slots sooner rather than later.
