Pixelmator - global Color Balance

I’m a new Pixelmator user. I like the Color Balance tool, but I would like the ability to adjust the shadows, mid-tones, and highlights all at once. That is, adjust the color balance on the whole image. I do this a lot on my photos.

Perhaps this could be activated by a double click on any tab, which would make all the tabs look like they are selected.

While I'm on the subject of Color Balance, it is not easy to tell which tab has been selected. There is very little difference in tonality on my display, which is calibrated and profiled.
