In previous version I was able to convert text to shape and then apply stroke so I could take an otherwise light font and make it a bit darker, if needed. Where's that feature gone?

The good news is that you don't need to convert to a shape to do this in Pixelmator Pro. With the text selected, go to 'Style' (the top icon that looks like a drippy paintbrush) and tick 'Stroke'.

Feature request???? Being able to get even finer control over stroke, such as 1.5px???
