Chat about the original Pixelmator.
One of the things I frequently do in Photoshop is to rasterize a PDF document at a set resolution (450 or 600 dpi) with no antialiasing. I can't figure out how to do this in Pixelmator Classic. Looking at the online documentation for pro I can't find any way to do it in Pro either. Is this possible?
Hi! It should, in fact, be possible in both apps. Pixelmator opens PDFs as raster images by default so that's the rasterization part covered right off the bat. To change the resolution, you'd use the Image Size setting from the Image menu at the top of your screen. For antialiasing, the Threshold effect might help. It will, however, only work with black & white PDFs.
