Same image opening every time I open Pixelmator Pro

I worked on this funny image of a coworker back in Feb. Its the only image that opens, every single time, I open Pixelmator Pro. What setting can I toggle to prevent this from happening?

The setting that is generally responsible for restoring (or not) previously open files is the global macOS one: System Preferences > General > Close windows when quitting an app. In this case, if you've previously closed the file, it shouldn't be restored regardless of whether this setting is on or off but I guess it's still worth a try.
If that doesn't help, we can try digging around in the Library for any user preferences that may not be being cleared.
