Hi,

I just purchased Pixelmator Pro and I am having trouble when exporting my shapes to svg.

Here's what the shape I want to export looks like in Pixelmator Pro:

Whenever I export it, I end up with wrong stroke...

Is there any way to export it to svg with the look I want?

Thank you!

Hey Ouzt, I wasn't able to reproduce this particularly easily — could you maybe share the Pixelmator Pro file so I could take a closer look? You can upload it to http://upload.pixelmator.com, then copy and paste the link that is generated into your reply here so I'd be able to download it.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Andrius,

Here's the pxd file: http://upload-cdn.pixelmator.com/number.pxd.zip

Thanks!

Thanks so much for that, definitely reproducible — I've passed it on to the devs to investigate!

Oh, and I've just thought of a potential workaround!

1. Turn off the Fill and Inner Shadow, leaving just the stroke
2. Choose Edit > Load Selection, then Edit > Refine Selection
3. Click the Expand field and enter 1%
4. Press the Enter key
5. Choose Format > Convert into Shape
6. Select the Style tool and turn off the Stroke, turn on the Fill instead
7. Set the Fill Type to Color and the color to the same color the stroke used to have (#3B3B3B)
8. In the Layers sidebar, drag this new layer below the original layer
9. Select the original shape layer, and turn the Stroke off and the Fill/Inner Shadow back on

I was able to export this to SVG without issues. It's a little long, but it should get the job done.

Thank you for your help Andrius!
Hope the devs are able to fix the issue, but the workaround works :)
