Damaged files after update from 1.2 to 1.2.1

Is something not working like it should? Let us know.

Any files that I created with Pixelmator v1.2 (or earlier versions) cannot be opened with v1.2.1. Essentially, I've only identified 1 file that I can open. My application auto-updated and now I'm unable to move back. This could be a specific problem to my setups, but this occurs on each of my computers (all running Mojave 10.14). Any help would be greatly appreciated. In the very least, it would great to get a v1.2 copy so I can actually use the program.

It sounds like potentially an incomplete download issue as the file format was not changed in this update — could you try moving the current version of Pixelmator Pro to the Trash and downloading a brand new copy from the Mac App Store? If that doesn't help, it'd be great if you could email us at support@pixelmator.com. Thanks!
